Optometric Technician
The Eye Health Group is looking for an energetic, self motivated and detail oriented person with great customer service skills to join our team.
Some duties include
Ensure high quality patient care
Maintain a professional atmosphere and appearance of doctor’s office and pretest room
Understand ocular terminology and diseases and know the ocular abbreviation.
Verify insurance benefits and copays
Complete necessary paperwork and perform testing on patients prior to doctor examination
Promote retinal screenings to eligible patients
Review prescriptions and/or patient information carefully and identify special needs. Consult with the optician, Doctor or Retail Management when necessary
Ensure equipment, both Doctor’s and pre-test, is properly steralized maintained
Qualifications
Previous medical office experience preferred
Strong customer service skills
Ability to learn terminology and insurance codes
Able to give instruction in a clear and concise manner to customers
Bilingual preferred but not required
Effective interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Detailed oriented
Multitasking and time-management skills

The Eye Health Group is searching for an experienced and dedicated General Manager to lead our team and manage our optical store. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in managing a retail store and be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the retail and professional business
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
Hire, train, and manage the performance of the staff
Manage inventory and ordering of products
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in managing a retail store
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Knowledge of optical products and services (Helpful but not necessary)
Ability to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays. Would be off on one weekday (dependent on location) and Sun.

The Eye Health Group is looking for an exceptional leader to manage daily operations of the office, management of personnel and ensuring policies and procedures are followed. The Office Manager leverages administrative and clinical knowledge to coordinate efficient office management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee execution of all aspects of daily operations of practice location including patient experience-schedule and flow, analysis & reporting, revenue cycle support, provider, appointment scheduling
Analyze and improve upon practice performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPI) monthly
Supervise staff to ensure exceptional patient experience
Recruit, hire, performance manage and retain staff through annual performance review process. Resolve employee grievances and personnel issues and create high levels of employee satisfaction
Develop employees with focus on growth and succession for employee retention
Assure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and other state and federal healthcare regulations
Maintain and utilize current knowledge of ophthalmic ICD-10, Medicare, HCPCS, third party payor and CPT coding and compliance issues to meet practice objectives
Review and ensure compliance with MIPS requirements
Develop, monitor, report and improve on continual basis, coding, billing and collections procedures
Supervise development and administration of physician and staff schedules for meeting daily patient care with high patient satisfaction
Administrate systems and controls to ensure that all receipts, payments and handling of practice monies is done using generally accepted accounting procedures. Manage bank reconciliation and deposits
Manage and coordinate maintenance and repairs of office equipment and facilities
Qualifications:
Education: BA/BS Degree in Business or healthcare discipline preferred
Experience: 2+ years’ experience in a management role; medical office management experience required, Optometry / Ophthamology preferred
Facility in supporting compliance with organizational policies, procedures and systems
Advanced knowledge of HIPAA guidelines, practices and procedures
Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies
Solid computer skills - Word, Excel and Google Workspace helpful
Outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate clear expectations
Superior organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities
Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures
Skill in operating a variety of medical equipment and computer programs
