In the landmark year of 1991, the birth of what would become TEHG began with the unveiling of the very first location in Toms River, New Jersey

In the transformative year of 2001, the seeds of a groundbreaking endeavor were spread when Optometrist Dr. Michael Iuliano brought his vision of medical optometry to what would blossom into The Eye Health Group (TEHG).
CO-MANAGED CARE
TEHG continued a transformative collaboration between our doctors and local Ophthamologists, ushering in a new era of the patient experience ensuring the continuity of care.
ONE OF THE FIRST NJ PRACTICES TO INCORPORATE WIDEFIELD RETINAL IMAGES
A new era of advanced eye care technology was ushered in as the practice proudly became one of the pioneering establishments in New Jersey to embrace OPTOS Retinal Imaging.
EXPANSION PHASE BEGAN
A new chapter of growth and outreach was written this year as the practice embarked on a journey of expansion into East Brunswick and Totowa, New Jersey. TEHG continued its growth over the next ten years by adding six more NJ locations and one in NY.
IVUE OCT INTEGRATED INTO PATIENT CARE
TEHG continued its pursuit of cutting-edge medical innovation by introducing IVUE Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to diagnose and manage eye diseases..
BEGAN TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS
Embraced a transformative shift in the way we delivered care during the pandemic by introducing Telehealth to enable our doctors to care for our patients.
AMNIOTIC MEMBRANES ADDED TO TREATMENT PLAN
An advanced and innovative treatment option known as Amniotic Membrane Therapy was introduced. This addition marked a significant leap forward in the practice's commitment to providing comprehensive and cutting-edge eye care solutions.
